    Blu pour Homme by Bulgari

I love this. Immediately upon trying it for the first time I thought this is what the cologne 'The Beach' from Seinfeld would smell like. It smells like a clean, crisp carribean beach. Love it. I think of vacations to beach resorts when I smell this.

Fragile Eau de Toilette by Jean Paul Gaultier

Hi, I see nobody has ever made any comments on Fragile EdT. I am currently wearing it and consider it a very elegant and classy fragrance. Has anybody any other impression?

    Femme Individuelle by Montblanc

I found Femme Individuelle a light elegant, watery fruity appealing fragrance, not too overpowing, slightly like a of version of Miracle and Madamoiselle combined , but certainly nothing strong like Angel

Arabie by Serge Lutens Les Salons du Palais Royal Shiseido

Stunning. Bold. In your face and yet so multi-faceted.
Definitely not for the faint of heart or for those who wish to be discreet and well-behaved.
It is, still, impeccably crafted. Almost architectural in its pyramid....
No perfume has cast a spell quite like this on me lately!

    Eau Pure by Caron

An amazing scent. Yes, it is a unisex fragrance, but the more I get used to it the more I'm convinced it couldn't be mistaken for a woman's perfume. It has a nice, soft, warm, yet light scent to it that, while for some unimaginable reason may not be *liked* by someone, couldn't possibly offend anyone. So it's very "safe", yet yet still unique....I have not smelled any other fragrance like this. It makes you smell very clean, almost like a baby. Yet it is slightly sensual, I think. A very versatile scent as well. This one will stay with me for a long time.

    Orange Spice by Creed

What we're "talking about"....... is an excellent mixture of citrus and spice with a musky edge. A Kouros like start, but that melts away soon enough. very nice.

    Bulgari Black by Bulgari

Excellent. Classy, subtle, original. Another modern classic from this superb Italian house. Solid rubber mingling with mellow vanilla and smokey tea. As urban as it gets, from image, bottle to scent and overall impression. 10/10 Mattias/Sweden

Great spicy cologne in the vein of Gucci Envy, ST Dupont Signature etc. Masculine, incredible staying power and nice looking bottle. Buy the frag, DO IT! (ben stiller voice ;) )

    Kenzoair by Kenzo

Overrated and to simple. Vetiver and licorice is all there is in here. I expect more from the company that brought us Pour Homme and L'Eau Par, two of the best fresh scents on the market. Also the bottle is a real cheapo in reality...

    Clean Men by Clean

Perhaps the most linear scent I have ever sampled. Fresh? -Yes, boring to death - likewise...
Stay away! And the price is just ridiculous. 100$ for this???? Take a shower and buy some Creed online instead. MMM

    Aqua pour Homme by Bulgari

If you positively need another Aqua-scent in your warddrobe, then I guess this is one of the best choices. Extremely nice bottle but the scent does leave some to be desired, maybe cause I'm not a big fan of this genre and because of my strong feelings for other offerings from this house. Nevertheless it is much better than 90%of its peers. The drydown is actually very reminiscent of Fahrenheit.

    Bandit by Robert Piguet

Too tempting to pass by. L'eglise St. Germain in Paris, dark light from tinted glass windows, all those candles... incense. That is Bandit for me. Quite understandably, Bandit has been classified as feminine in 1944. But it has more masculine elements in it than many modern fragrances classified as such. Enjoy its distinct absence of sweetness! I prefer the EDT version to the EDP, but both have less class than the original version available until about 1970. Therefore: 3/5.

    Agua Brava by Antonio Puig

I think it could also have been called 'Costa Brava', more to do with fishermen than those aquati hilday notes of today. Better wear it on a sunny day or else the breeze may make you shiver. There are days you will love it!

Old Spice by Procter & Gamble

It is from the days men called their perfumes shave lotion. The GI brought it to Germany and together with Wrighleys it has become synonimous for US - smell!
Much stronger stuff than the common German colognes in those days. Speick and M+W Tabac may have been considered counterparts - camouflaged as skin antiseptics!

There is lemon in many fragrances. This is lemon plain and yet lasts longer than most. That is why I love it!

    Vanilla Musk by Coty

This is my favorite cheap womens perfume. It's a nice smooth vanilla, with the musk taking off the overly sweet edge that strong vanilla scent usually have. It's worth $10 at wal-mart if your looking for a gift for your girlfriend.

    Rochas Lui by Rochas

This is one of my favorite light spice/woods. I wouldn't go as fas as saying this is perfect for a 3 peice suit, but more of a nice casual scent. If you like gucci pour homme but think it is too dry and doesn't last long enough this scent is for you. Similiar to Mayhem by goth rosary.

    John Varvatos by John Varvatos

Hands down the best release in 2004! It's sweet, warm and masculine. The dry-down is to die for, received too many compliments the first day i wore it, it was a very over-whelming experience. Get your hands on a bottle if you can!

    Nobile by Gucci

Pure class. Green to the extreme and not for anyone under, say 22... Sophisticated, mossy, extremely classic smelling fragrance with sillage and longevity that needs to be experienced to be believed. Lets put it like this, Envy is a badboy - but Nobile has it for breakfast anyday. Powerhouse!!! Good stuff

Earl Grey Tea by Demeter Fragrance Library

Earl Gray Tea with itís rich black tea mixed with Bergamot is great tasting and wonderful smelling brew. So when I saw that Demeter had a Earl Gray Tea fragrance I thought ìThis is just what I would likeî. Others seem to suggest that the line had very realistic scents. So I ordered it blind on-line. It was somewhat cheap at $19 for 4oz. Once I got it, I gave it a try. What the heck ! I checked to see if I had ordered the wrong item. Nope, the order was correct. To me it is a very synthetic smelling mix of fake Bergamot and lots of alcohol. What a disappointment ! The saving grace I guess, is that it only lasts 10-15 minutes then disappears completely.

Alain Delon Pour Homme by Alain Delon

This Delon has many similarities with SamouraÔ.
The heart and base notes are almost identical, but SamouraÔ is spicier and sharper. This one is smoother and woodier.

    Worth pour Homme by Worth

This scent is indeed similar to Paco Rabanne original. However it's smoother, more introvert.
De Charlus' description is amazing, and even more interesting when you know the Rabanne olfactive connection!

    Krizia Uomo by Krizia

    KRIZIA: Krizia Uomo (1984)
I bought this blind after reading some favourable comments (many thanks, RCavs!!) and it is a more sombre version of JACQUES BOGART One Man Show. Both have an arid, acrid opening that tickles your nose like snuff and transports you back to the 1980's. Like OMS, it makes a not-so-subtle statement and is the antithesis of Acqua de Gio type smells so popular following the turn of the century. A woody arid fragrance which is very masculine. After the slightly unpleasant opening (which i enjoy!), it mellows to a blend of dry wood with hints of moss and tobacco. Who would have thought something so sharp at the start could have such a soft marvellous drydown 5 hours later!
