    Ralph Rocks by Ralph Lauren

This is the second scent from the female Ralph line that I own and wear. Like Wild, this doesnt evolve at all on me, and it lasts about 2-3 hours. All I smell is an Orange Creamsicle. Projection is average, but again it does smell pleasant. Neutral rating based on poor longevity.

    Ralph Wild by Ralph Lauren

I'll start out by saying that I'm a guy, and I do wear this scent. On my skin it doesnt evolve at all, all I smell is the intense fruit all during the life of the frag, which on me is about 5-6 hours. Its nothing impressive, but it does smell very pleasant to my nose. very wearable during the summer, on those lazy weekends around the house.

Burberry the Beat for Men by Burberry

I dont really get the violet, maybe because of my inexperienced nose. I only get some fresh pepper with slightly dark vetiver in the dry-down. This actually lasts a really long time on me, bordering on all day (10-12 hours). This is by far my favorite Burberry scent. For a beggining hobbyist, I feel like this might be a good introduction to Vetiver, based on the fact that its a bit fresh and actually smells mainstream. Thumbs up for me.

    Polo by Ralph Lauren

I've never understood why so many people fail to call Polo what it really is - a superb patchouli fragrance. Sure, I can smell pine, leather and lavender in Polo, but the one note that is constantly present throughout its duration, and becomes more and more prominent over time, is patchouli. Smell your shirt the morning after wearing Polo, and what do you smell? Patchouli! It's also the note that prevents Polo from being a dull, stodgy, overly traditional fragrance, and gives it a bit of a raw, exotic feel. Polo is patchouli done right. I love Polo because it is all things in masculine perfumery - warm, crisp, cool, bright, rich, classic, manly, formal, casual, anything you want it to be, during any time of year, in any kind of weather, for any type of man. Let us all raise our glasses and offer a toast to Polo, that it will continue to live a long and healthy life as a benchmark in masculine perfumery.

    Mazzolari Mazzolari by Mazzolari

I can definitely smell the similarities to Yatagan, though it's nowhere near as daring or animalic. It's very woody like Yatagan, but floral notes and I believe a little mint and citrus add some sweetness and a Mediterranean feel to Mazzolari. I like this scent a lot (it took me a few wearings to get into it), but it doesn't strike me as very unique, as it smells a lot like an 80s style fragrance I wore a long time ago but can't quite put my finger on now (Portos? Gucci Nobile?). Mazzolari is a very good pick if you like Yatagan's aromatic qualities but not its iconoclastic boldness.

    Zegna Colonia by Ermenegildo Zegna

Seeing this at Bon Ton was rather surprising. Since it's a small store they only have the biggest sellers (Polo, Hugo, Curve, etc.). Then I saw this and got all excited because it was something NEW! Something I hadn't heard about.. but I'll just cut to the chase. At first sniff it was pretty interesting. What I got from it was a bright, clean, scent that reminded me of clean clothes and a touch of citrus. It also had a bit of spice or something and gave it a bizarre notion of an almost effervescence. Unfortunately as the scent progressed.. it didn't go anywhere interesting. Pretty much just ended up being sweet and powdery. Not a bad scent but.. just doesn't do anything for me.

    Terre d'Hermès by Hermès

The scent evokes memories of an afternoon rainfall over sun-baked red earth and scorched clay. I found myself back in the infantry unit again as Bravo company made that 20 mile trek across desert terrain to reach the rendezvous point. Warm, desert-dry and ruggedly masculine, TERRE D'HERMES is another fantastic creation from perfume wizard Jean-Claude Ellena.

Adidas Classic / Classic Blue by Adidas

This was probably the first cologne I ever got for Xmas, late 1980s. Funny thing, I got a sample of Chanel Allure Homme, which at first I thought smelled like Burberry London, and still does a little, but the second time I sprayed it, I thought, god I remember that smell, it smells like Adidas, which I probably haven't smelled in over 10 years. Come here to check the notes, both have bergamot and mandarin topnotes, and vetiver and cedarwood basenotes. too funny, since adidas probably costs like 10 bucks. I think you can smell a little more powder(tonka?) in the chanel though, I really would like to smell this adidas again though...

Jil Sander No. 4 by Jil Sander

My mum wore this when I was a child and she still does from time to time so for me this is a comfort scent. A very nice floral with a warm drydown very pleasing to me.

    Royal English Leather by Creed

I find that I'm wearing this more and more I play polo and compete in dressage so it is a familiar scent to me. I love walking into the tack room and being hit by the scent of fine leather. My mum and dad love to tease by saying "Ferril have you been riding or are you wear REL" :p My dad wears GIT so he knows how it feels to wear a scent you just can't get enough of.

Acqua di Giò pour Homme by Giorgio Armani

if i only have walmart/drug store frags ill want this, but once ive smelled real scents this just smells generic and its ubiquitous in college campuses and with youths and its for people who cant think of anything else to do and lack individuality

    Chrome by Azzaro

chrome was great in the 90s although its TOO much like ck one and a boring citrus aroma that is way outdated and lacking a few notes to make it stand out

    Claiborne Sport by Liz Claiborne

best of the claiborne scents and excellent refreshing scent for daily wear

the ingredients in this one absolutely stand out and its really a top notch scent i always got compliments when i wore it, and the entire scent matrix was amazing. the citrus notes and spices, woodsy notes completely made this stuff intresting and i would strongly reccomend this stuff to anyone

i just outgrew this type of scent after i found some KNOCK OUT frags, but this will always be an underground classic and a good coumfort scent

    Realm by Realm Fragrances

I smelled this at a pharmacy and was totally blown away this is one of those NO NAME scents that stand out and its a hot buy

its spicy and the juniper berry and lavendar make it very strong, but it all blends well into a sexy masculine accord

overall i would say that this is one of the best aromatic spicy fougere types and its a very nice exotic smell i highly reccomend

    Allure Homme Sport by Chanel

this is an excellent scent for all occasions and is a very fresh feeling cologne, although i found the floral and woodsy notes to be a bit femnine, i bought the original. its got enough spice and woods to make it masculine and its an edgy scent

best sporty scent iMO infact up to 95 percent of those who buy it LOVE it and its got the lowest return rate of any dept store frag so i strongly reccomend this stuff
