Too much gardenia waited for the base notes to kick in but by that time I already had a major headache. Too flowery for me.
I would probably have never tried this fragrance had it not been for the helpful SA- since I'm not attracted to celebrity labels- but I was very pleasantly surprised by this one- beautiful composition, great longevity, and a cool-looking bottle to boot1
What I especially love about this fragrance is how it allows three of my favorite white flower notes to individually shine- first, gardenia- then tuberose, and finally, orange blossom-
This is unusual for me, because usually orange blossom drowns out the other white flowers- or I just get an overall white flower accord-
I am a fan of Michael Kors and of white florals in general. This fragrance was recommended to me by a friend so I tried it. I do think it smells like 'Michael' but I actually prefer it because of the richer base notes. I actually think it smells more like Michael Kors "Gold' which is my signature fragrance. But this one is less than half the price with similar notes and longevity.
So while I am not a fan of Kim Kardashian the celebrity, I am a fan of this scent. I have also branched out to try other Kardashian scents (Kim Gold and Khloe & Lamar's Unbreakable Bond) and I have to say that I am impressed with their quality and development on my skin as I go through the day.

Fracas holds the crown for the most delectable white floral, and while Kim Kardashian doesn't rival her, this fragrance has managed to succeed in being far more than just pleasant.
This fragrance does have striking similarities to Michael by Michael Kors and Kai, in that watery gardenia and tuberose aspect. Surprisingly, this fragrance has also managed to create a sense of cosy creaminess and subtle hints of sweetness without being nauseatingly so.
While fairly linear throughout, I must admit that this fragrance has been composed well. I'm rather liking the fact that this fragrance will most likely appeal to a more mature crowd, rather than the majority of her teen followers.
I'm not a fan of Kim Kardashian, nor do I know much about her, but a ten year old girl sitting behind me on a train, obviously looked up to her as her idol by hearing the way she talked about her. A fashion idol perhaps, but I certainly hope she hasn't seen her infamous porn video.
With that being said, this fragrance doesn't smell cheap, tacky or even remotely like that of a porn-star. Perhaps if this fragrance drops in price, I may buy myself a bottle.
The lasting power and sillage are excellent, certainly surprising to say the least. I'm overly impressed.
I have been looking for a nice gardenia perfume that wouldn't cost the earth - at $30aud for a 100ml bottle this fit the bill. Upon first spray I get a big creamy gardenia note : exactly what I have been looking for! I enjoy a good white floral and its refreshing to see a celebrity do something else other than a fruity floral or gourmand scent.
Does smell like Gardenia, does smell like Michael Kors, but I like it better than Kors. Not so long lasting with my chemistry.
I like it ! KK reminds me of Poison by Dior but without the spice,Fracas but with gardinia, and slighty of Hot Couture but without the pepper. The packaging may not be the fanciest but I scored a giftset in a after Christmas sale for $15 -so I'm not going to complain.
I agree that for a celeb scent, it's not bad. But it's also a copy of Michael Kors Michael, which is the better of the two.
For a celebuscent this is not too bad ,honestly. The juice is white floral and sweet. Much inspiration taken from the likes of Carolina Herrera and Fracas. Opens strong and sweet ,staying power is quite good. My gripe with is the bottle and packaging - it is hideous and cheap .
Folks, it could be worse !
too strong gave me a headache almost immediately

Amarige By Givenchy Anyone??? A Lot Of Gardenia Too.
I smelled this in the latest issue of Glamour magazine and thought, "Great, another Fracas / Michael Kors cologne". I think I've had the wrong idea all along by working at a boring job for a paycheck - I should simply slap my name on a bottle of tuberose scent and sit back and rake in the dough. I'm getting tired of all the tuberose fragrances everywhere these days.
