Armani Code Sport is a very light and simple sport fragrance. Despite grapefruit not appearing in the Mid/Heartnotes, it's the main focus of this scent and is actually not bad.
To experience Armani Code Sport, try the following: chew a stick of spearmint gum for half an hour, then set aside. Cut a grapefruit in half and remove the fruit, also setting aside. Put the chewed gum into the hollowed out grapefruit and smell from 6 inches away. This is Armani Code Sport for the first 5 to 30 minutes. After the 30 minute mark, begin adding little squares of mahogany every 10 minutes, smelling in between.
This part isn't unpleasant- in fact, it smells pretty damn good. The grapefruit is tart and well done (despite, as I said, not being listed!) and the mint isn't too synthetic as to be annoying.
The tragic flaw in ACS is when it projects from a heated body, which I can only describe with the following recipe: 1 table spoon of grapefruit juice, another tablespoon of white vinegar, and half a tablespoon of lemon juice.
Not pleasant at all; it's sour and ruins what could have been a really nice little scent that actually did a masculine grapefruit well.
I'm giving it a Neutral because it really is an okay hanging-around-the-house scent. Light, but wearable, just not when sweating... which is it's purpose.

Mediocre, but not terrible
More fresh, sprightly and crisp than its namesake. Still too sweet and artificial to these nostrils. And the price tag is just ridiculous.
O Armani: if you have such great taste, why are your juices so weak and synthetic? Come on, take a chance for once in your life!
Great smell but nothing actually new. It doesnt reminds me of original Armani Code.
It's almost all citric lemons and oranges.
Sillage, projection and lasting power are medium. Reminds me a lot of Cartier Declaration Cologne and Dior Homme Sport.

I got a tester from the store (thank you Nordstrom's) and found the scent clean and refreshing; however, it just wasn't my style. Unlike most of my testers, this one didn't get used up and was thrown away after several different occasions to try it out. Definitely not on my "to purchase" list.
