Armani Code/Black Code by Giorgio Armani - The opening is a citrusy duet of lemon and bergamot. The heart insinuates nicely, adding hints of sweetness, spice and floral, from its star anise and olive tree blossom components. Strengthening, this stirring middle adds a more pronounced powdery sweet flavor, and a faint, smoky chocolate note. The enchanting base, with its tonka bean and guiac wood, overtakes the fragrance, kidnapping the light floral, and adds a creaminess and aridness, as well as a light smokiness, to its comforting drydown. This robust composition is an all-season and sensual scent. Regrettably, its longevity and projection leave much to be desired.
