I just saw this on a website: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ted-Lapidu...4788247&_uhb=1
Does anyone know if it qualifies as a powerhouse frag. and what it is like. From the seller's website:
Ted Lapidus' new arrival is an adaption of the 'Pour Homme' range, called Black Extreme, which is composed of black pepper, citrus, violet leaf, orange blossom, saffron, cistus and tonka bean.
It works out at around $35 for 100ml, it is a little too much for me to blind buy. BTW the seller has free postage and has some reasonable deals. I just ordered a 100ml Derrick by Orlane for about $12 or $13.
I'd say (in case you haven't read it of course) to check out the following thread:
I thought at first (months ago) that this was some kind of joke but it really exists but here you cannot find anything about this fragrance which is not to get hold of (yet).
Anyway, some describe the smell of it in the thread!
It's available in the UK!!!!
I'm getting me some of this bad boy..!
Let us know what it's like! If it's anywhere near as good as its older brother it will be great.
A guy called RobbieX has this to say: Just bought this blind, based on Ted Lapidus' scents and how good they are. This is, I would say, is T.L. pour Homme with violets. It's got a bubblegum note lurking in there. It's also similar to Bogart's One Man Show Gold Edition. To sum up, it's a blend of TL pour Homme, OMS Gold and Silver Scent. Oh and I like it but not as much as I thought I was going to.
Not sure I'm willing to risk a blind buy based on this review...!
I already wrote the link down of that quote yesterday..............
Anyway, I won't buy it but let us know indeed what you think about it!
Hi Slayer, yeah, I just wanted to pull out a relevant bit of a thread for anyone who, like me, can't be arsed trawling through this stuff!! It's a shame but I don't see that this will live up to it's big brother - the mighty Lapidus Pour Homme. Pity 'cos it's a cool bottle too! I might buy it eventually but would like to try it first.
Exactly.................this would not be a blind buy for me as well..................neither was Lapidus pour homme but I bought that one 3 hours after my first testing and never regretted it
(yes, the bottle indeed looks awesome!)
Saw it too when it was on Ebay but didn't blind buy. I like some of the Lapidus frags but not all of them and all the newer Bogarts, whilst nice, didn't do too much for me. The only one I still own is One Man Show Gold which, whilst not amazing, is enjoyable sometimes.
