I was going through all my samples today and discovered a stash of Trumpers samples from years ago.
Ajaccio Violets (evaporated)
I'm not sure if all these are still made, I will have to check.
Royal, Fougena, Silvester, Flaura are all out of production. I have some royal, I have never sniffed the other three. What are they like?
I will have to give them a thorough sniff test and let you know what they are like, it's ages since I sniffed them. I seem to recall that Flaura, which is an aftershave, was a soft creamy smelling carnation, but I will check it again.
I have a feeling that Flaura could possibly be now called Milk of Flowers. The description seems to fit the bill.
Fougena is a weaker version of Wild Fern.
Thanks Barry. That sounds plausible. Milk of flowers is weird but I like it.
Silvester reminded me of a less harsh Pino Silvestre.
