Three! Three Pittsburgh scent lovers on this list! Ah! Ah! Ah!

Greetings fellow Pittsburghers, I'm pleased to see that there are at least three of us here now. What else do we have in common?

I'm a massage therapist, aromatherapist and DIY scent creator who has been messing about with essential oils for about 20 years now. I have little formal training, except the aromatherapy class I had at massage school back in 2009...and by then, I could have taught that class better. I love exotic, rare and unusual essential oils, and am beginning to fall in love with the oil-based perfumes of Arabia, as well as with the perfume components of animal origin. My mother always did say I had champagne tastes and a beer pocketbook!

Who will be next to introduce themselves here, I wonder?

Hello to all. I'm a native pittsburgher and I'm relatively new to the DIY aroma game. I enjoy collecting and mixing essential oils of all types. I've come up with a few I really like and I'm learning more and more everyday.
I'm also into collecting rare and seldom heard of fragrances. I hope to learn more about the oil based and exotic attars of the Far East.

I am not all that familiar with basenotes however there is so much helpful information here. I live in Pittsburgh and love making fragrances in all forms. I am a clinical social worker and collect perfumes also. I got started on this through the aromatherapy/essential oil route.
