Hi everyone I use an Imac 24" from 2008, I´m really satisfied whit it, right now I`m learning Logic Express so that I can make some clubmusic in the future...
awaits Macworld 09 where his new 17inch unibody macbook pro is sleeping (hoping its gonna be called extreme pro ;-))....
I live in my old Mac G4 Powerbook ....a trust friend indeed!
Very funny "news" release:
Gear update: I got the new aluminum MacBook to replace my previous hotrod PowerBook G4. It's nice, but I do miss the illuminated keyboard.
I've been using Macs for 6 years ( at university) and have been a proud owner of a PowerBook G4 for 5 years. My new MacBook Pro is on its way though. But that doesn't mean I'll part with my precious PowerBook (that would be like neglecting an old friend because of a new partner )
... once you go Mac you never go back!
MacBook Pro addict since 2008.
Greetings fellow Mac users!
I guess I'm dyed-in-the-wool (plus my last name starts with "Mc" so it fits very nicely). I can still remember my brother switching on that cute little 512K model (here's comes the chime! the smiling apple!) and then drawing my name with the mouse. That was in the early 80s. As senZuality sez, you never go back. After a G4 cube (!), a G4 tower, a G4 laptop, I now run a Mini--a mini that has the same horsepower as the standard Mac & Screen combo. All of 6 x 6 x 2.5 inches. I tuck it under my cinema screen and there's still 2 inches to spare.
Greetings Mac users! I'm posting from my newish Macbook Air. I've been test driving it for about two weeks now. I miss having a cd/dvd drive for running games, but other than that I'm thrilled with its light weight (3 lbs instead of 5), slimness, and the way it slips easily into my tote. I gotta admit when the Air introduced, I was very skeptical. I didn't think the weight and size difference would be enough to justify the cost. Having one in my hands has definitely converted me. I still have the old black MacBook with an Intel Core 2 Duo, and I could probably use it as an external hard drive for the Air if I get ambitious enough to figure that out, but for now the poor, old thing has spent the last two weeks underneath the sofa, neglected (sniffle). It's funny, I've been using Macs since 1999, and I feel an attachment to them that I never did with a PC.
Btw, WWDC is coming up next week! New toys, yay!
