Kalakassi is a subtle, polite, non barnyard Indian Oud? Sounds great.
May all beings be at peace...and experience good oud.
A kind person sent me a smidge of Thaqeel. I put just a tiny bit on my arm and rubbed my arm on my shirt. It truly is as good as you all say. Just Divine! A real heart opener! Thanks kind person!
Good for you Divmama! Enjoy!
Am I the only one who hasnt tried it yet? I am dying to try it! oh well guess i better start saving!

Check out Trygve's latest agarwood adventures in India:
One of my distiller acquiantances revealed to me, after I quizzed him about it, that the highest 'personal' grade Agarwood he has used to distill from was from King Super grade. Sourced from the jungles of Burma, he said it is the best Oud oil in his collection. As to the availability of such an oil, he politely declined. He said he has reserved it only for himself and his family. He told me that from 2 KG's of wood, he received 2 Tolahs worth of Dhen Al Oud (Oud oil).
I can only imagine how fine an oil that would be ...
Not to mention, how expensive it would be as well ...
