Indeed it most certainly is! Me and Dred wouldn't talk about it everyday lol if it weren't Congratulations on your purchases Divmama! Hope you enjoy them all!
Thanks acer! You too.
If you had'nt heard I like indian spice a little.
you know if I had an extra 3k laying around for fragrance...I think I would get like 5 tolas of indian spice instead of thaqeel .
although I havent tried the thaqeel yet.....a wonderful person sent me a sample. I have a cold so I am not trying it till my nose is 200% back!
Oh yes, definitely save it until you can smell again.
DM- put a drop on your shirt....and smell it over the next 12 hours...its so incredible how many times it changes....and wait till you hit the cherry note hours into it....all the time you have to wait is so worth it.
I been on a cambodhi kick lately. I love the woody sweetness. I think I might be becoming a hoarder. I probably have plenty of oud for the next year or 4 ....but I want as much as I can get! I dont ever want to run out of have it become unavailable. ...I seriously wish I had a whole buncha extra money so I could buy a ton of indian spice....i am so nervous that I will run out even though I have about 4.5 ml...i think I have to get another 1/4 tola
Dred thankx to your recommendation of Taha's Cambodi Calambac, I'll be getting me some of that as well That and a little surprise Taha has with a custom distillation he is procuring Can't wait to try that one out!
Thaqeel has to be one of the best Ouds I have ever tried! It really is that nice Dred! I should post my review of it within the next few days
Oh yes, dred. I got the cherry note. I slathered some on yesterday and it still smelled wonderful this morning.
I need to explore the Calambac further. I have a good size sample. He is currently down to one bottle. : (
The cool thing about the calambac is when you first put it on....you are like no way this is going to smell like a cambodhi. its like dry very non sweet.....then it totally changes and starts getting sweet.....by the drydown its totally sweet cambodhi. I am not sure if its as good as the ateeq, but its the more complex. I love it. kinda wish I had a back up of this one too.
You know dred, we are very fortunate to have these lovely ouds to explore. Let us be filled with gratitude.
