i'm new here and can i ask you about the saif el hind from ajmal? how do you rate it (quality, type of smell)? thanks
collin from italy
It is the bestest quality Oud in the whole wide world!
It was ok ... Then ajmal remade a new batch and it came out terrible. Then they discontinued it... All the said al hind left now is the bad kind.
Ahhh I see the reason why they stopped making it then Dred ... tnx for sharing. I probobly smelt the older Saif Al Hind, it was nice to be honest.
Saif Al Hind = Sword of India
... it is a title given to high quality Indian Oud oil.
I guess they managed to screw that up as well lol ...
thanks! so the new one is different? bad, in the sense of low quality?
Yeh I have heard the newer saif al hind is not as good as the old one. Just do yourself a favor an dbuy the Indian SPice.
Yeah collin check out agaraura.com and try the Indian spice... Great quality oud for the money.
I bet you saw the saif al hind on eBay for 160 instead of the usual 220 or whatever it is.. They are trying to get rid of it.
Oriscent Assam kinam is pretty good too but double the money of Indian spice. I wouldn't say it's double the quality but it's good.
thanks a lot
i saw it at zahras.com at 160$
instead the Ajmal Musk Gazelle Grade AA is ok?
is easier for me to buy from zahras.com and they have only the biggest names like Ajmal, Haramaim, Swiss Arabian, Syed Junaid Alam.
plese can tell me some good oud oil from them (that is not so costly, <200$)?
also do you know the oud oils from swiss arabian like: Al Salaam Dehn el Oood?
From zahra ASAQ is my favorite. I have bought a couple from them. The 2 I would recommend are the ASAQ 16 year old cambodi and the cambodi mattak. Swiss Arabian and AO I don't really like.
Ajmal original musk ghazelle was great! The new Indian musk ghazelle is kinda nasty ... Smells like camel ass!
