My first post here in this group. I forgot I was even a part of this group lol

Anyways, so I have been sampling quite a few from L'Artisan lately, and I notice a good percentage of them to be spicy, or incensey. I also notice the projection on many to be closer to the skin.

Is it just me, or do others feel the same?

I will say that, thus far, Tea for Two is amazing, but I think if I owned a bottle I would wear it very very rarely. Vanille Absolutment is rather nice too.

Yeah, Tea for Two doesn't have any sillage for me.

Haven't got to Tea for Two yet, but I'm totally in love with Drole de Rose. It's a lovely little fairy princess floral and it has good sillage!

I love Tea for Two, and own a bottle, although I must admit I wear it infrequently. It is a scent that I wear for myself, on evenings when I am just going to cuddle up and read a book in winter. I never really think of it as a go out fragrance.
The whole line gets bashed for their lack of lasting power, but for me, the ones that I like are more personal scents anyway. Havana Vanille, or the new name Vanille Absolutement, is one that last well for me. it is an odd duck, but a good one, and worthy of giving it some trials. It is not a love at first smell fragrance, a bit complicated, but ultimately well worth the trial.
I own four L'Artisan's, and enjoy them all. They are easy wearing and different, all at the same time. They were my introduction to niche. And although I don't think many of them are better than some great designers, they stand on their own as original and fun.
I think it is a line worth exploring, even if you may not find one that makes you spring for a bottle.

I too agree that the L'Artisan line is worthy of exploring. I find most of them to be good quality and a few most unique. I have experience poor longevity with some that I have sampled, but I chalked it up to a skin thing. Some of my favorites are Tea for Two, Timbuktu, Dzongkha, Havana Vanille, Mure et Musc Extreme, Bois Farine, and Navegateur. Besides, I'm a fan of Bertrand...
