I am generally against the constant use of shampoos and surfactants on hair, as I find most "clarifying" shampoos are simply in place to remove garbage left behind by other hair products. I have not used shampoos since June of this year, and my family is completely in awe of this since they think my hair always looks like I've spent time on it, but it's actually just the natural process of the body taking care of my hair as its supposed to. However, should I want to use a shampoo occasionally to remove air pollutants (I live in NYC), what would some people here recommend? Something SUPER natural and non-foaming/non-surfacant would be preferred...
