You may recognize the orange universal feed icon from your favourite websites and blogs. These icons represent content in any format — text, audio or video — to which you can subscribe and read using a feed reader.
Using feeds makes it easy to keep track of a large number of your favorite website or blogs, without having to remember to check each site manually or clutter your email inbox. You can subscribe to specific feeds and see this information in one place to be read when you're ready.
Most of the biggest names on the web offer content feeds and many of your favourite fragrance websites such as Basenotes do too.
If you want to browse and subscribe to feeds, you have many choices. Today, there are more than 2,000 different feed reading applications, also known as “news aggregators”
A typical interface for a feed reader will display your feeds and the number of new (unread) entries within each of those feeds. You can also organize your feeds into categories and even clip and save your favorite entries (with certain applications).
If you prefer, you can use an online, web-based service to track and manage feeds. Online services give you the advantage of being able to access your feed updates anywhere you can find a web browser. Also, upgrades and new features are added automatically.
Some browsers such as Firefox (with Live Bookmarks) or Safari have feed readers built into them.
The easiest way to understand how it all works is to download a feed reader or sign up to an online one - then add feeds from your favourite blogs and websites.

We have lots of feeds available - you can subscribe to them all, or whichever ones interest you.
We also have a feed for fragrance companies. If you are interested in receiving feeds on a particular brand, find the company in our fragrance brands list, and if there is a feed available it will be noted at the foot of the brand's page.
