All this busying around the new site issues has almost made me forget what it's all about: loving perfumes!
SotD is delicious Dalila from a new Italian brand, O.P.S.O: it's basically an orange blossoms scent with slightly almondy- musky undertones. Simple, yet cheerful!
Have a nice Saturday, all of you.
An overcast and gloomy start to the day here on the southeast Florida' coast. Warm and muggy too. A good day to crank down the A/C, make tea and settle into the couch with a good book.
Valentina, from a sample. This is nice, citrus and frosting to start and not sure what to call it slightly musky under, but it is fleeting, more of a quick experience than a scent-of-the-day.
What is it that makes some scents last and others flee? The Jailia stays citrusey all day, as does the Prairie Nymph...Reglisse Noire is very light smelling, not a heavy hitter, but it sticks around too, so it's not to do with 'loud' or 'strong' or a particular class of smell. Persistence, why are some persistent and some just sort of sit on top of the skin and evaporate?
lodine; l know what you mean. l don't think the Community forum has ever been so busy! l've been so preoccupied with it that l didn't get around to posting here until the middle of the afternoon.
l'm a little more hopeful now that some of the things we lost are being worked on, but the site still feels really alien to me.
The weather's brightened up here over the last couple of days. l'm wearing Honey Coconut by Love & Toast, & getting a few little jobs done around the house today.
Have a great weekend, everyone!
