While I'd sacrifice a pinky toe to get our full wardrobe function back asap, there are a few features I do welcome. For instance, being able to install photos of my choosing for different wardrobe categories is very satisfying and soooo easy. One doesn't have to upload the photo to an album before using it either! You can upload it directly from your desktop.

Secondly, I can finally enter fragrances into my wardrobe that were never in the fragrance directory and probably never would be (I'm looking at you ICONOfly Attache-Moi). Not only can I add them to my "Collection" list, I can add missing photos, too!

I also like that I can see if a frag I like is cross referenced with other members' lists. I see that one member has Mothers on their wish list, so maybe I'd want to suggest a bottle split with that member. (I also see that Kiliwia has a cute "Tried & Tested" picture to represent her tried list.)

So, while I wait for Grant and Huddler to resolve the whole SOTD/wardrobe/directory Praying smileysfiasco, I will take more than solace in the non-crash-ability and other amenities currently at hand.

Yeah, we can do a lot of cool stuff now :)

Just keep doing it while we're waiting & adjusting, maybe....

    & it's a good sign if u can find 24 Faubourg now,...

A lot of good things have been added. Like it a lot.

I just hope that the positives in the long term will outweigh the negatives that many here see in the short term.

Grant would not let it be otherwise. Shall we have a party after?

    I'm with you, Mumsy.

By the way, you ol' typographer, you, what kind of equipment had you worked on? I'm an old Compugraphic and AKI/Atex veteran.

I like that in a particular forum you can see a blurb of what the last poster wrote and not just his or her name.

Lol. I was originally Ludlow and hot metal at the beginning. Then computers and kerning by hand and eye to correct the daily horrors of not having fonts recut every few sizes.

The college eventually cleared out all those lovely Ludlow and Linotype machines afterwards. I hope they are still being used somewhere.

I occasionally design a logo here and there or some packaging or invitations for friends. I am actually doing some perfume packaging soon. I should present it here for a decent crit.

These sound like really nice features! Thanks for bringing them to our attention.

Now if I can just find time to play with them.
