Summer Scent thoughts

    Summer Scent thoughts

So I'm thinking of getting some additional things for my summer scents. I'm thinking either something more light and aquatic or citrusy. Im also trying to not be too redundant in getting something i already kinda have, and ideally it should be a pretty "safe" everyday casual scents that the ladies would appreciate.

Right now what i use for a more "summer", light feel on hot days:

    Main go-tos:

    Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche

    Creed Millesime Imperial

Creed Aventus + Virgin Island water (2:1 mix)

    MFK Amyris pour Homme

    Occasional wears:

    Bleu de Chanel (occasionally)

    Dior Cologne Royale

    Keiko Mecheri Muholland

    Gendarme by Gendarme

    I'm thinking about getting:

    Versace Pour Homme

    or

Chanel Allure Homme Sport eau Extreme

    or

    D&G light blue

    or

Bois 1920 agrumi amari di sicilia

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

Really intriuged by your 2:1 mix of Av/VIW. How does it smell?

Actually its really awesome lol. I don't actually ever wear VIW by itself. The aventus 2:1 VIW mix is my standard go-to party / clubbing scent, as well as my summer scent when i feel like having a good time. It's got this pina colada + lime party vibe with a layer of peppered birch smoky masculine vanilla. You should definitely give it a try. The smokyness works really well for me because of my aventus batch i think (E01) but the other batches all still have pineapple so you'll still get that pina cola vibe =)

that aside, i'm looking for something more light /airy and more chill and refreshing for the summer for the super so cal chillin kickback days =P

Allure. Have you thought of dg one? The ginger note is very summery and I think it is under rated.

    What about Armani Code sport?.

James Bond 007 Ocean Royale - now I know it's not a brand but the scent is delightful and quite cheap - you should give it a try.

Check out Tommy Bahama Set Sail St. Bart's. It's cheap as dirt and performs quite well in the summer months.

If you are in the US check out Of A Man from The Body Shop.

Of the three choices, go with Versace Pour Homme, as all of the Allures are mediocre and Light Blue is awful.

Maybe take a look at L'Humaniste by Frapin.
