Creamsicle Quest

    Creamsicle Quest

    Greetings and Felicitations!

I'm on a quest to find the most accurate creamsicle scent I can find. Creamsicle for me is the old Good Humor creamsicle on a stick. The only other time I ever smelled the same exact fragrance was in a lip balm by Crazy Rumors called "Orange Creamsicle Lip Balm".

Just to clarify, what I mean by "accurate" is, if I have the ice cream in one hand and a spritz of some orange-vanilla cologne on my skin, I should be able to sniff both and not find any difference at all. I'm hoping someone can recommend a product that's simple without any complex notes since the original creamsicle isn't a sophisitcated scent. Just the orange and vanilla without a "third" note if possible, unless the another note creates a more accurate creamsicle scent.

I'm open to fragrances made for both men and women, bargain basement to 100+ in price so long as it replicates the original creamsicle fragrance. I'll be wearing it around the house since it's just for my pleasure alone.

    Thanks in advance.

Perhaps Feuilles & Fleurs d'Oranger by Galiamrd as it has that orange vanilla vibe IMO.

Demeter makes a scent called Orange Cream Pop, and I'd imagine it's as close as you're going to get if simple and unsophisticated is what you're after.

I tried the Demeter and it had a "third" note of something that messed up the scent. Also, the creamsicle fragrance was very weak, but the name is catchy.

I'll add it to my list and see if I can find a sample to try out. Do you think it's close to the ice cream or is it just a unique orange-vanilla mix?

I read a description of it. Sounds like it might be a match. I'll order a sample and see how it goes. Thanks Jive.

The price is right, too. Thanks.

Vanille Les Nombres d'Or by Mona di Orio is definitely what you want. Orange creamsicle with rum! Price is very expensive and definitely probably out of the range in which you are willing to pay. Nonetheless it is a great fragrance.

Yeah, that's a bit rich for my blood, although I'm willing to try out a sample if I could find a cheap enough sample. Thanks.

Sweet Redemption by By Kilian is the closest I can think of (and it is quite close indeed). I don't like the stuff personally, but it should fit the bill nicely.

Antica Farmacista Vaniglia, Bourbon and Mandarino di Sicilia is often compared to a creamsicle. And it is not that expensive.

Order a sample from luckyscent $4 for a small vial. Warning you will want to purchase once you smell it. Early in my fragrance journey I sampled it but it was too pricey for me then $170 I wanted it bad too, looking back I wish I would have gotten it then as the price has jumped to $230!!! DAMMIT!!!!!

Thanks, I ordered a sample the other day with some other ones. I can't wait to try it out.

I'll have to place another order with them when I've collected enough names. I just ordered a few yesterday.

The reviews for Farmacista are positive from what I read and most say it's a creamsicle for sure. Thanks.
