Deleting "bump" posts in your own Marketplace thread

Deleting "bump" posts in your own Marketplace thread

Hi, I asked this in the wrong section before, so I hope here's the right place to do it. I can't find the old function in my posts of Edit > Delete post, so how can I delete previous "bump" posts in your Marketplace threads? Does someone know?

Funny Lloyd, we both posted similar questions just a few moments ago.

You are asking how to delete your posts and I am asking how to delete your threads. Here is my thread that I started on the issue:

Yeah, I suppose it should be a similar option to do both things. Let's see if someone knows...

Suggest ask a moderator - they can delete stuff for you & explain how to do it in future, hopefully.

That can't be the best option, it would mean bothering the mods HUNDREDS of times... There's got to be a better way.

I think that stuigi would be able to tell you how to proceed as he's the one who knows these things.

I'll see if I can get this reinstated.

    Thank you, Grant.

Thanks Grant, btw, I didn't get an update on your new messages, and it's my own thread, so that might also be something to look into.

Thanks for the hard work, changes are never easy, but they are usually for the better!

Was this ever reinstated?  I would like to delete a thread in the Sales Market place.  Editing the thread and posting with new info won't delete the pics associated with the original thread?!  I do hate to bother Stugi.  :)

    Not as yet I believe.

If the pictures are showing in your User Profile, under 'Your Embedded Photos' they may be deleted there.

I agree that it appears that Marketplace threads may not be deleted by members at present, although they might possibly enter an 'All Sold' remark or similar on their thread.

Thought I read in another thread that we will have the ability to do this soon.

I too think that it's just a matter of time.

My feeling is that the 'cleaning up' of these threads could possibly be done at a later date instead of adding to the current workload.
