OMG Have they got our old lists and things? I wonder if we can see.
I did see just one page. Aaaah. Just for an old cuddle. xx
Don't bother linking because it comes back to here, but it's just good for a security blanket hug.
Mumsy if you use www.basenotes.com rather than www.Basenotes.net you can go back as far as 2000 in Basenotes archives but no individual pages other than the Forums Pages can be accessed until 2003.* (See post #7 in the Thread for an update)
Try this link for a mix of pages from old Basenotes dates:
Also, I have found if you truncate a Basenotes address that shows the thread number when it is in the toolbar to a point that includes the actual page number you begin with an address such as this:
You can click it to go to that archived page.
When you click on it you will go to an archived page in Basenotes, this one from 2006. Then, you can change the number up or down to access another archived page of the past. Some pages will deny access or say they don't exist. I just try again, deleting to the number again then change it by adding or subtracting one or more from the listed number right in the toolbar to, say:
Then delete to this:
and change the number to this:
and then click on it to access another archived Basenotes Page, presumably the very previous one archived in this case.
On the VBulletin site I was able to go Wayyyyyy back very early archived pages this way.
Some enterprising soul could correlate the numbers with dates in sort of an overview and post a date/number general archive guide if she/he has the patience of a saint...
Using www.Waybackmachine.org the oldest Basenotes capture available is from its October 2, 2000 "update". Although the links pics no longer show many of them still afford passage to other pages from that date and many of the highlighted links are still working, including those to Community Message boards! Hit the link below to see what Basenotes looked like almost 13 years ago, shortly after its inception:
Then hit this link to the Waybackmachine.org for more views of Basenotes from 2000 forward. The blue highlighted dates in the calendar are links to a particular day. You can adjust what year by clicking on the year in the bar at the top of the Waybackmachine's page:
