What is taking so long?  How inept is Huddler?

It hasn't even been that long. If anyone think they can do better in a shorter amount of time, then do it.

Do miss it am sure they will get it sorted

Yeah, there are slightly worse things happening out there  in the real, wide world imo.

That really isn't anything to do with this. Basenotes isn't out solving world hunger or finding a cure for cancer.  People just want answers, and that's entirely reasonable.

It's about keeping things in perspective - my own random elderly member thoughts as usual.

Answers have been given - is a little patience harmful?

SOTD is still a priority - unfortunately we don't have a date as yet.  Thank you for your patience!

Obvious that BN and Huddler had no intention of using the SOTD feature on the new site.  They didn't know what we wanted.  Now they are scrambling due to the fans of this site demanding it or taking themselves elsewhere.

I recall someone asking the question during testing, so maybe some things just take more time than others.

This is *not* the case.  Grant wants SOTD day back as soon as possible.  Unfortunately we don't have a date for it as yet.

And this IS happening at an alarming rate. And by respected vet members. I wouldnt be montoring this part of the site if it was not a concern.

I am not expecting my above concerns to be addressed, from the complaints:positive-response rate (or lack thereof) since transition date. Just airing a current sad and precarious reality.

    I 3rd that

When I agreed to sign over to the Huddler platform one of the things we agreed on was that the SOTD functionality was extremely important and one of the items that should be available once the site relaunched. I'm frustrated that it wasn't too.

I've asked about the possibilty of opening up access to the old SOTD feature to allow people to continue to track, and so this could be integrate properly in the future. (plus the option to add back dated SOTD's as well as choose a SOTD that isn't on the site)
