I don't remember how Chergui was other than it being very powdery - and it was when I had olfactory fatigue so I ordered another sample to give it a fair test.
What would you recommend between the two?
I tend to follow your tastes on the forum. Sometimes you surprise me, such as your disinterest in LDDM and that you've (to my knowledge) avoided Aventus (you would love it).
When you did Chergui, did you find it baby powderish?
I bought Chergui about a year ago. I wear it mostly in the fall and winter months upon occasion. I don't find it powdery, maybe a slight hint with the incense. I find it to be more or less a combination of dry honey, hay, tobacco and light woody/spicy. If you don't think LDDM is too gourmand, too powdery or too sweet I don't think you'll find Chergui to be those either.
