That is exciting news! Thanks for the heads-up Kagey!

Absolutely brilliant news. Can't wait to read them!

I don't use Twitter, but I think I'd like to give him few suggestions myself, too...

I hope he starts with a laconic 2 star reviews for both, Pure Malt and Aventus.  thumbsup.gif

'In a magazine of high repute'

Not 'Nuts' or 'Loaded' then happy.gif

Great, I love his sound scientific base combined with his wit in writing- even when I disagree with his ratings!

We could always start a suggestion list here.

    I'd go with

    - Dries Van Noten for Frederic Malle

    - Anything from Mona di Orio's Les Nombres d'Or line (he eviscerated her first line, so would be interesting to see)

    - Illamasqua Freak

    - Nicolai's latest: Musc Extreme, Eau a la Folie

    - TF Violet Blonde, Noir, Sahara Noir, and the Jardin Noir series, Santal Blush, Jasmin Rouge...

    - Kinski

Actually, I'd love to know whether he's re-evaluated or changed his mind about any of the old reviews. That would make interesting reading.

Fantastic news...I'd be curious to hear his thoughts about some indie lines such as Slumberhouse....

I would love to have Dr. Turin 'return' to Basenotes too.

That is amazing news. I knew he'd have to write some more.

Can't wait to see those perceptions, and those metaphors!

Turin's reviews aren't really profound, but they are profoundly entertaining in their hilarity and inanity.  So, in short, I look forward to them.
