Between vintage DH and vintage DHI, there are differences. DHI is sexier, very smooth, sweet, appealing. DH projects more. They share the same DNA though.
But amongst vintage DH and reformulated DHI, like I think you are pointing out saying that you own the DH bottle for a long time and that you just adcquired a DHI sample, there are not so many differences. Reformulated DHI is strong on the iris in the opening, just as vintage DH. That lipstick note is toned down on vintage DHI.
