    Spring rain...

Just stepped outside after the rain stopped.  A deep breath brought fresh soil, wild roses, and honeysuckle wafting to my nose.  I love fragrances, but honestly nothing compares to nature.vrolijk_1.gif

I'm totally with you:   my gardenia's just started blooming yesterday, and I am in heaven.  (They almost mask the urine smell from the damn dogs peeing in the yard LOL)   The honeysuckle smell this year has been overwhelming;  I actually get a little sick of it out on the bike trail.

    Totally with you PP.

Depending where you are the smells after a spring rain differ in some ways but to me they always had the same wonderful basis: the earth readying itself for an explosion of life.

Comme des Garcons Vettiveru does the trick for me. Also, CB I Hate Perfume November conjures up images of a damp spring day ironically.

They have one called Thunderstorm, but it's mediocre. Their Dirt scent comes closer.

I think CB I Hate Perfume's Black March does a good job, too.
