Hmmm...so I checked in on my Storax Essence and it was suddenly liquified. Perhaps it's too warm? to be solidified? Seems to be about 75F.

Styrax Essence (I) bought from Perf Appr?

I've never had mine solidify. Maybe too warm here, as opposed to frigid NH?

    Paul,

I don't think the inside of my house is any cooler thanmost areasin Winter.

Here's the odd thing. When I received it back in February, it was mostly liquid. Then when I shook it a bit it became solid and whitish, like a waxy petroleum jelly consistency. Very strange.

Ooh - that's odd. And v.interesting. Sounds like a shear-thickening non newtonian fluid. Did it turn back to liquid again when you let it rest (at the same temperature) ?

No, the stuff has been solified since the first day I bought it. I have always used it with a pipette end, just scraped some out.
