    No love for Floris' Perfumes?

I was checking out some discounted perfumes at Marshalls today (Toronto Canada finally has one!) and saw a lot of Floris perfumes on the shelf. (Edwardian Bouquet, Lime, Fleurs, White Rose, etc) I didn't know much about their scents so I used my cell phone to read some quick reviews on basenotes and Fragrantica - they got so-so reviews. I didn't buy any and when I returned home I read Luca Turin's book for his reviews; almost all Floris' scents got poor reviews.

    Are they really that mediocre/bad?

I have not yet smelled any that really excited me. I once saw ang got a superdiscounted Stephanotis, which is not bad, and if I found them at those prices, I'd get perhaps a couple more (like No 89). Hard to say if they were better before and got watered down or if they were always like this, like pre-Duchafour Penhaligon, just banking on the fact that they had been around for a long time.

Personally have not been impressed with the ones I have tried either.

Floris Mahon Leather is a very acceptable leather scent IMHO.  Otherwise the discontinued Sandalwood was nice.
