Anyone else tire of a 'favorite' after a few hours?

Anyone else tire of a 'favorite' after a few hours?

I love all my FBs of fragrance...BUT just lately I have been applying my favorites and an hour or two later, am sick of the smell. Montale Dark Aoud always has been near the top of my list...but after 3hrs today I had to scrub it off...It smelled like old tree stump water!!!
I wore Ramon Monegal Dry Wood the other day, and after a few hours, scrubbed it off. I've never done that before. Don't know if it is the season, my body chemistry, or what is happening.

Never had that experience, hope you're feeling better soon...

Maybe take a break from you fav's if this is happening and revisit them in a little while, sorry to hear about that. I'm sure your nose will come back to its senses in a little while.

I'm wondering...I generally save my favorites for going out...but lately I have put several on when I am working around outside...I was mowing the lawn today, perhaps the heat/perspiration is what's causing it. I HOPE.

Never have experienced that either yet. Gosh that would be tragic for me.

Sometimes I have worn a favourite fragrance and something feels off that I just cannot put my finger on it. It leaves you wondering if it's you or the cologne but it usually passes.

I think it's to do with your own physiology, you know when a certain smell can make you feel a little sickly for no reason. I'm sure it will pass in time.

I wore Versace man eau fraĆ®che  way too often last summer and got sick of it. I laid off of it for a few months and just came back to it today. Enjoyed it a lot. Perhaps rotating what you wear daily (or at least more often) will help you to appreciate the scents that you love.
