I'm also one of those that resents the fact that samples are so small. As was mentioned, they are just enough to hint at things, but at least for myself, not enough for me to gain the kind of confidence I need in order to shell out a big wad of money for something I might end up stuck with and not liking.
In a way, it seems like this "level of uncertainty" aspect is almost designed into these small samples. Do you want to understand more ? It's gonna cost ya to find out.
2 1/2 ml samples are better, but to my mind a person needs 5ml to really get a sense of things, and back in the day there seemed to be a lot of them around.
But for some reason that seems to have changed now, along with the rising costs of the FB.
Perhaps it's expensive for samples to be free these days, but I'd gladly pay for factory 5ml samples if the makers made them available.
