I have all of them including Aoud & Pine which is my favorite. They all are very nice and of the five, the standouts IMO are Aoud Meloki, Kabul Aoud, and Aoud & Pine. Longevity and projection are classic Montale.

I seem to remember Montale Paris saying that Kabul Aoud was a "Fake" and they were going to sue the manufacturer. All the fights between the company and the "Secret" perfumer caused alot of confusion...Anyone know the latest?

It's a regular release but confined to the Middle East market. Sold in the most reputable boutique and fragrance stores in the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Commands a bit a higher price than other Middle East Montales. Some of he Paris boutique employees at the time the store was functioning were not aware of the special Middle East launches. Perhaps that caused some confusion.

Thanks, Montale often is surrounded by rumor, confusion, and strange behaviors. I would love to try it as I have tried/owned quite a lot of Montales...

It also sounds original. I love the Montale does oud; its so bewitching and ethereal with depth. Pine is a perfect note to pair with this. I hope to smell it someday!
