    Hi everyone.

I need to pick your collective brains. Yesterday, the humidex hit 42c here. Is there a fragrance that can cool you off?. There is one caveat, one with no eucalyptus or  cypress. Thanks for your help.    Rex

Florida Water, 4711, Aqua Velva Ice Blue, Agua Lavanda, Michael Jordan Flight, Royal Violets, Yachtman Blue and many of the old style  Eau de Colognes for starters.

Acqua di Gio is the first that comes to my mind. Cool water, as well.

My favorite is a good-sized splash of Vettiveru (Comme des Garcons).  That might be more "refreshing" than "cooling," though.

I've never tried it, but I've seen many people suggest keeping something like a traditional Eau de Cologne in the fridge.  I looked at your wardobe -- maybe you could try that with Eau d'Hadrien.  It's already nice and zingy; maybe if it was chilled it would really hit the spot.

    Any Neroli, like Neroli Portofino.

Virgin Island Water, too.  That's my go-to weekend-in-the-tropic-zone cologne.

Creed's Himalaya does it for me with it's icy blast of white musk. In fact if you put your favourite Summer scent in the fridge that should also do the job in feeling cool, for a while at least.

First, thank you for your responses. You've given me a lot of good leads.

BTW-I never thought of putting something in my fridge (Palm plant to face)

Also, a couple of days ago,  I bought Oyedo-Diptyque and Molinard Eau Fraiche.

Most EDC style fragrances, including the aforementioned 4711, other than that, most aquatic and citrus fragrances.

Florida Water in the refrigerator and then applied with a soaked wash cloth or cotton balls or just splashes or put it in a spray bottle and spritzedt on has been going on in the South pretty much since there have been refrigerators
