    Carolina Herrera Fragrances Any Good?

I have never tried a Carolina Herrera cologne. What are the better fragrances in the line? Are they well composed? Are the smells memorable? Pleasant?

Fragrances I own and enjoy: Amen series (except leather), YSL Homme Series, Chanel Allure Series/ Platium Egoiste, Mont Blanc Legend, Midnight in Paris, Kenneth Cole Black,

Roadster, Rochas Man, Lacoste Red, Chrome, Issey Miyake, Lola Lempika, Grabazzi,

    Burberry by burberry/weekend.

    Farehnheit

Also a great rose scent that is under $100 US.

Im not really picky. I have an open nose. I just detest medicinal smells.

I personally don't care for anything I've tried from this house. Just me.

Which one is the safest blind buy? I heard the newest one was not memorable? thoughts?

In order what would you rank from favorite to worst?

I really like 212 NYC Men, a very fresh/citrus and also floral to me which has very good longetivy and decent sillage, making it a nice option in summer. CH Men would be my second option, sweet vanilla floral romantic scent... very nice too. From the rest, I've only tried VIP Men and didn't liked for a buy... remains me a bit from One Million,

I really liked Herrera for Men (1991)-- not sure if it's still available though -- the 212 line leaves me cold though

Decent rose for under $100? No 89 by Floris might fit the bill

Used to love Aqua years back. Was my go to fragrance on dates. The ladies like it back then.

Got given 212 Men as a gift once. Wore too much of it and eventually finished the bottle having over-applied it every day for about a week! Never went back to it and never bought another fragrance from them.

As for the rose that you mention, what sort of rose are you looking for? There are now zillions out there that would suite all sorts of different people - powdery, very strong, combined with woody notes and so many others.

I like VIP men. Probably gonna be one of the next bigger bottles I have. If you like one million I think its a great buy. It could be your sorta day time one million.

Herrera for Men, Chic for Men and 212 Men are the scents I like from this house. Used to like Herrera Aqua years ago but I wouldn't buy it again.

In the early 90s, Herrera for Men was one of the spiciest, sexiest things out there to me but it seems to be way weaker and not close when I've smelled it lately.

I used to appreciate and enjoy Herrera for men at the turn of the millennium but somehow never replaced the empty bottle. I'd actually love using it again but I'm nervous about possible 'updates' (reformulations).

I've only tried 212 and it's only okay at best, nothing special, but definitely a safe buy.

I found a good deal on Chic For Men. I like it for summer, fresh with 7 hours and medium sillage.

I literally just walked out of Ross with a bottle of 212 for Men. It's never been the most groundbreaking scent out there, but it was a great deal for a 1 oz bottle. It's a nice, safe scent for spring/summer and at the office.

well I'm new into fragrances and I havnt smelled a heavy rose composition. The only thing that comes near but is highlt synthetic is kenneth cole black and

midnight in paris(i get a rose in here for some reason/reminds me of a womens perfume).

Im not really picky with fragrances as long as they smell good and not medicinal.

If I would like a rose I would like something that cleary has a rose note yet masculine. The women in my family have all worn paris by YSL and I like that rose note.

I will check out out 212 and chick. Later visit herrera for man. I like blind buys because I have a very open mind and I do a bit of research and ask fellow basenoters. If for some odd reason I dislike. I can give it to a brother or nephew.

About vetiver fragrances.( I lack one). If the chanel pour monsenuir concetre a bit old smelling for a 23 year old? If it helps I like all AMen/flankers, Tuscanny, Grabazzi, Farenheit, and the oldest smelling fragrance in my collection to me is roadster.
