Welcome dixie84! I hope that you enjoy your time here and in London.

As hedonist has suggested, the Balenciaga Paris might be a suitable one to try first, especially if your budget is low.

It would be best to go to a shop and try it first - the big shops in London let you try the fragrances free so that you can go away and think about them.

This is important as you don't want to buy one that you don't like.

Amouage was born in the Sultanate of Oman and often uses frankincense, rose and jasmine in their fragrances.

They have a new factory in Oman.

If you can go to Harrods, in Knightsbridge, you should be able to try their new one called 'Fate', but you might need to save a lot of your holiday money before buying it!

Whether you buy any after testing or not, testing will help you to learn more about what you like.

    Good luck :)

    Hi, Dixie84

After sampling at Harrods (I love Harrods!) and you pin down the special fragrance you want, try buying a tester instead to save $$$$$. Nordstrom also sends complimentary samples but I don't know if they ship to England.

PS Be sure to list your fragrance wardrobe so your Basenotes friends will know what you like!vrolijk_26.gif

    Hello dixie, welcome! :)

I don't know many girls fragrances, but I have a suggestion: Carolina Herrera's 212(female version).
It suits a pretty girl nicely and always makes me swoon haha
    Oh, and it's cheap too
