As someone who makes my own lotions, I'm used to having jars of semi-good stuff that I use. I don't like throwing stuff in the garbage and most of the time, the "failure" is more on the look/feel side while the product actually works. These semi-failures I don't give away to others, of course. I can either trash it or use it myself.
With perfume, it's more difficult. Although I make really small test batches I don't feel like using other stuff than the ones I really like. I guess I'll end up with a drawer full of bad perfumes... some bad, others not so good. The good ones I use (good enough for me, I'm sure they won't be good enough for many of you but that's another question entirely). Possibly I could give some to a friend's daughter, but I produce more semi-bad perfumes than the poor kid can use :p and really, although she's just a kid who gets a kick from owning and using some "grown woman things"I prefer to give her something nice.
What do you do with your less than perfect perfumes?
