I had tons of samples, in the hundreds. I usually give them out to family or friends wanting to try something new. Of course i buy full bottles of what i do like.

I often end up with part used bottles rather than samples because if you're buying part used bottles they often come to not much more expensive than a sample, but I've still managed to amass 2 big boxes (somewhere around the 110 ish mark) of samples and another box of minis.

Most of them aren't going to make me buy a full bottle, but for some of them that is because I haven't got a hope in hell of ever being able to afford a full bottle, so the sample is the only way I'm ever going to experience the fragrance.

The full collection still fits in one cupboard, so I'm not addicted. I've decided that this is the way it's going to be, and if it overflows cupboard I'll either have a cull or I'll buy a bigger cupboard.

Any samples I receive with purchases are given to other people.

I love my sample collection almost as much as my bottles! I have them organized for myself but also so that if I'm swapping decants with someone I can check to see if I have sample of something from their wish list to include.
And it definitely helps keep me from buying bottles. My tastes keep evolving and I love to revisit perfumes I had at one time disliked to see if I can now appreciate it.

I agree completely with this. I ahve now over 150 samples and climbing. I used to blind buy bottles, and i think that is the waste. With samples i get to try out as many frags as i want without breaking the bank, especially the pricier frags such as Xerjoff and Aftelier etc.

I will use my samples mainly in the house now..

    FB's outdoors..

maybe I can get rid of a few by doing this..
