Where is Gucci Pour Homme? - (2003)

Can anyone tell me whether it is still possible to purchase Gucci Pour Homme (2003) on line and if so where?

If not does anyone know of another - or other - perfumes with similar top and base notes?

These are the perfumes I've seen recommended as alternatives on other threads

    Tumulte Pour Homme

    Gucci Envy

    Tommy Bahama

    Dirty English

    Lalique Equus

    Pens Opus

    Burberry

I also like Armani Prive- bois d'encens (vetiver and cedar) but it is a truly ridiculous price - any suggestions for alternatives there ?

The only place you can still get the original GPH is eBay.

For a current release very similar scent, look no further than Comme des Garçons 2MAN.

You can buy the minis from fragrancenet and put them in an atomizer. Thats what I did.

There is a frag that Hednic used to recommend all the time that smells very very similar. Hopefully he will pop in and remind us. Not Burberry London.

haha. He sold me on that one when I was a lurker. Burberry London is an excellent fragrance.

His obsession with London is not as crazy as Atillas obsession with DIOR Holme sport intense. haha

Hednic usually recommends Carbone de Balmain for an alternative. Can be found cheap on Amazon.

It's not identical, obviously, but very close in scent, vibe, and general feel. GPH I is more 'wet' and oud-y, 2MAN is more smoky and resinous. Overall 2MAN is probably the closest you can get to GPH I without spending a small fortune on the original on eBay. I have both, including 3 backup bottles of GPH I, so the price on eBay no longer scares me, my 3 bottles will last me a lifetime.

Ordered it today. Will report later when I receive it. It actually can get quite expensive buying minis from Fragrancenet and putting them in a sprayer.

I really need to find a bottle of this to try (without breaking the bank).  Sounds amazing from everything I've read!

I just purchased a backup bottle from a fellow basenoter for a very reasonable price, so be sure to check the Market Place boards here.

I was able find GPH at the Veterans Exchange at local VA clinic for a fraction of the price that you pay for on eBay. AppleMark
