How often to you re-up?

    How often to you re-up?

I'm sure, as usual, it depends on the scent, but, as an in general, how frequently do you go back for more?

For me it's usually just once to get the day started and once after work IF I'm heading out for the night, second shower or not.

Now I've added one before I crawl into bed. Love the smell on my sheets the next morning! Not as good as smelling the ex on 'em, but close, and a great way to wake up!

It's extremely scent-specific, as you suggested, but I find myself considering re-applying a fragrance after about 6 hours, as a general guideline. Were I more interested in Slumberhouse or similar known sillage monsters, that might be reduced.

at work usually 3 times in a 8 hour period

Previously I'd take short lived perfumes with me to work. Work is the longest bout of time where I'm not home and won't be home for a good 8 hours.
I'd reapply 4 hours into it.

I don't carry a manbag messenger bag so it got tedious.

I've now reserved those short lived and low projecting perfumes to venues and events that I know I'll only need perfume for a few hours like the cinema, my early morning cafe visit, or quick social outings.

2 showers daily? I wish I could shower all day everyday. Greatest feeling ever. I love fresh water with a passion. Swimming is my thing. Showering is my things thing. That sounded weird, but I meant it innocently and funny and truthfully. Lol

Anyway, good for you on both the showering and spritzing!

Once a day at most, I do reapply fragrances occasionally, especially if the longevity gets very weak over time.

Usually just in the morning, before work. I am going to make an effort to purchase atomizers for purse sprays. It's nice to be able to reapply, just not often convenient.

I was wondering how to know if others can even smell the smell on me after an hour or two. I know my own nose stops noticing and even if I intentionally sniff the spot I sprayed, I often can't smell it. Depends on the scent though, some last better.

I am wondering what is the best way to carry it as so many atomizers seem to leak.

I would think just having a secondary mini or vial you can carry would do it.

Like its been said, it depends on the fragrance. Where I live it's often very hot often with humidity, so fresh/ light fragrances are preferred. Personally I reapply 3 - 4 times a day. I decant into 5 ml atomizers and take that in my pocket wherever I go.
