Recently i came across two bottles of vintage Dior Homme, one with serial number 5H02
and one with 9H03.
Propably 2005 and 2009 bottles.
Do they have the silver collar/silver tube,or just the silver collar?
If you are planning on getting them to resell them, just so that you know, I doubt you will have much luck, since the current version is really good (and some even prefer current to the vintage, so I would test them both if you can).
The difference (I think):
Vintage, iris is stronger on the top, woodier in the base.
Current, iris toned down on the top, cocoa ramped up in general. Longevity and projection slightly superior to vintage.
When I'm done with the vintage, I am going to be happy to purchase the current formulation (which I slightly prefer).
Although I find that the current versions are both great scents, I think that enough people still prefer the vintage that you could sell it, depending on price. Maybe not for the premium it once commanded, but definitely sellable.
I prefer vintage DH by a smidge, but not enough to hunt for it once my bottle runs out.
