Good morning all !. Out of the loop yesterday - early start for a day in the delightful city of Norwich. Abundant shade in the medieval streets, traditional market, castle, and the compulsory visit to Jarrolds perfumery. Even managed to stumble across a classic car rally near the cathedral.
Breathing a huge sigh of relief after seeing what I missed yesterday - (((PerfumedLady))), I am so glad you are OK.
SotD is Neil Morris Storm (sample). I find his creations genuinely evocative and predict that one or two full bottles will be on order very soon.
The unrelenting torture continues - faithful companions for today will be a fridge full of chilled cava and numerous strategically placed fans.
PL, glad to hear about your eye. A neighbor gave me a pair of black biker goggles that are indestructible and advised to wear them at all times, even picking the sticks, while out in the yard. A klutz as I am, she knew something would happen to me without them. Please be careful.
Sea Roses, can't wait to see the pictures. Glad to be of help. ComDiva, your recommendations are very sound and will be used (I have a personal soft spot for the rye bread/toast/chips and planted dill this year).
Will bake on orange creamsicle cake at a restaurant, also upside-down nectarine cupcakes. Will wear HdP 1873 (Hi, ExtremeK!).
Not scented yet today. After a lazy start, l've been out weedkilling in the blazing sun while Mr teardrop cleaned the barbecue. We decided to simply re-place the gravel in the back garden without the membrane, as it's rather a small area for a lawn, but a thousand tiny weeds are now growing through it, so l had to resort to chemical weaponry to keep them under control. l don't think there's a perfume to go with weedkiller...or is there...? l would have sweated it off by now, anyway!
l think we'll be heading to the pub early today, as we're both now melting after our exertions!
