Most affordable would be my top priority as I want to get 10-20 samples.

    Thanks.

Check out Decant Shop.com or MyPerfumeSamples.com, the latter is only designer frags, and Decant Shop is a mix of designer and some of the more popular niche. If you want some harder to find/ vintage / niche, try Surrender to Chance.com. Hope this helps

Aedes does 7 samples for $20 shipped. Decent, but limited selection. The best selection by far is Luckyscent. Pricier but waaaaaay faster shipping. I ordered samples from both websites within 30 minutes of one another (Aedes first) and I had the Luckyscent samples in my home before the Aedes samples even shipped. However, hard to argue with the price.

scentedmonkey.com sells samples for $3 each.

I haven't bought any so I don't know how fast they ship.

I noted that some sites that sell samples specifically list refill or limited edition of a fragrance, when all I really notice that is different is the bottle it is in (like Terre d'Hermes). Is there a reason why they do this?

Also check with whatever house you're interested in. Some have their own sample services which can save you money.

I say surrendertochance.com. I use to really like theperfumedcourt.com until two of the owners decided to separate and form their own company (surrendertochance). Now the customer service and/or order fullfillment is questionable at TPC. My hunch is here on Basenotes you'll get a lot of votes for luckyscent.com. My choice is mostly based on who has the largest perfume inventory to choose from (niche, designer, hard to find etc.). Happy perfuming!

I recommend theperfumedcourt.com. I used to use their service many years ago and was pleased with them then. I started buying decants from them again a few weeks ago and have been very pleased. Most recently they sent me Dzongkha instead of Dzing!. I told them so and they promptly sent me Dzing! for no cost with my next order. I find them very customer focused and prompt in order processing, shipping, and in addressing customer problems. Good online report tracking system.

The Perfumed Court is crazy expensive, although they do have a very extensive selection (if that's what you want).

This is the only one I have used, and I know they are exceptional. I didn't know there were less expensive alternatives, and I may give another vendor a shot. That said, it's hard to stray from reliable sources.

essenza-nobile.de may also a good place, granted, they ask about 2-3 Euro per sample (including niche, tough), but the advantages are that they retail samples of any fragrance they have in stock and also offer international shipping.

As has been noted. The Perfumed Court and Surrender to Chance have huge inventories of fragrances. However, they are very expensive and delivery charges are completely out of line( Im outside the continental U.S.). However, the Decant shop is new but is developing a good reputation in a hurry. No charge delivery with order over 50.00USD and they are quick and I did receive an extra decant free.

Also, if you are looking to more obscure and hard to find, try ALZD (First in Fragrance) A very reputable site but its a bit pricey.

    nd of the thread. LOL

but really, they are great! Email them if they don't have what you are looking for. They tend to put it on stock fast :)

Parfums raffy is a great place to get samples, but they do not have the biggest selection. They have amouage, montale, and xerjoff samples at the best prices.

Although I personally don't buy samples, friends of mine who do, speak highly of Luckyscent for samples.

    +1

I don't know about the Xerjoff or Montales, but the Amouage samples are official carded manufacturer's samples.

I ended up going with Decant Shop.

Ridiculously fast shipping (i think I got the samples the day after my order), good prices and selection and nicely packaged too.

The decant shop is great! Got my order quickly and they respond really quickly to all your inquries. I also use surrender to chance and I plan on using PC for a cologne concentree that is no longer in production.
