Will receive this fragrance today after doing lots of testings of the Homme versions and already owning the Homme Intense version which 80ml version I could get luckily for only €20! This one I could get for €30 on a kind of ebay site.
I liked them all but Homme and L'Eau were way too short on the longevity part imo.
The Homme Intense compensated on this and also smelled imo better than the Homme version as the mojito accord was tuned down a little, a rum note was added and it has way way better longevity of course.
It has a smell I never came across and I experience it as very pleasant.
Then I encountered L'Eau Boisee and I was blown away fom the start! This is for me how a grassy vetiver should be! It starts like L'Eau but later the vetiver kicks in, combined with the lime from the opening and is surrounded with wood and pepper which gives it a fresh grassy vetiver smell for hours! Longevity is 6-8 hours at least (depends on application) and sillage is average. Best for spring, summer and warmer fall days. Also perfect for office. It hasn't the soapyness of Original Vetiver, not the sharpness of Dominguez Vetiver Hombre and not the tobacco-tonka bean heavyness of Guerlain Vetiver (I love all these three fragrances but this to mention that L'Eau Boisee is different compared to other fresh vetiver fragrances).
Thumbs up for this (maybe) modern masterpiece!
