Collection Reccomendations?

    Collection Reccomendations?

    I currently own...

    Terre D'Hermes (parfum)
    Le Male
    Aventus
    Acqua Di Gio Essenza
    Kenzo Homme
    Kouros
    Antaeus
    Musc Ravageur
    Dior Homme Intense
    1 Million
    New Haarlem
    A*Men
    A*Men Pure Malt
Gucci Pour Homme (don't own this yet, but it's my next planned purchase)

I'm looking for any suggestions to expand my collection.

    What I'm most interested in:

    • Scents that are very different from the ones listed above.
    • Good manly fruit scents.
    • Summer scents with the best projection and longevity out there.
    • Harsh and masculine scents like Antaeus, Kouros, Gucci Pour Homme

    What I'm not interested in:

    • Gourmand/sweet scents... Even though I enjoy them, between A*Men, DHI, Le Male, New Haarlem, and Musc Ravageur I'm begging to feel prediabetic.
    • Scents with less than stellar longevity and projection.
    • Frilly/metro scents.

    Hit me!

Things that come to mind include M7 and Knize Ten, both very masculine (woods and leather respectively) but with a touch of fruit notes. A little bit too loud and warm for the summer perhaps. Also, Chanel Egoiste (the regular one), smooth sandalwoody with candied fruits.

Gucci Nobile, Esencia Loewe, Joop! Nightflight, Baldessarini Ambree, Penhaligons Opus 1870, Santos de Cartier, Van Cleef&Arpels pour Homme, ADP Colonia Assoluta may be worth including in a test list.

    Thanks guys!

Knize Ten and Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme were both already on my radar to sample.

Agreed. Also seconding Baldessarini Ambree, and adding Bvlgari Man Extreme to the list to check out.

Bought a large crop of samples recently, including some scents mentioned here.

    Thoughts so far:
Parfum d'Empire Aziyade - Smells like a Yankee candle with a taco meat overtone... Weirdly plasticy/rubbery. Not a fan.
Jovoy Les Jeux Sont Faints - Smells a lot like the angelica-based Frederic Malle I smelled from their sampler, except more vegetal and woody. Really like the subtle vanilla base. This one may grow on me!

Two more to consider: David Jourquin Cuir Tabac & Parfum de Marly Pegasus

Actually, that was one of the samples I've already tried so far from this crop.
    And, I do like it!

Smells like a manlier, filthier Musc Ravageur.
    Potent.

Esencia Loewe - Eh, kind of smells like deodorant spray. A little too harshly synthetic, and a little too much going on.
