Funny you should suggest this. This is the one HdP scent I have sampled. It reminded me too much of New Harlem, which I found a bit intense, it also lasted way too long on me, I think from the immortelle. I do like when I fragrance that I absolutely love lasts 12 hours, but when one that I am not thrilled with lasts 24+, it makes me like it less. I like to wear 2 scents a day, often, and I can't with some of these niche fragrances.
I do love Norne from Slumberhouse, and it lasts forever too. I plan on trying the rest of their line in the near future.
You must try Gucci PH 2, if you haven't already. It has the sweetness of spicebomb, spiciness of tof, smokiness of fahrenheit and the smoothness of arpege ph. Good chance you'll love it. It is also getting discontinued, so now is the time!
My current top 5, in no particular order;
Rive Gauche Pour Homme
Brooks Brothers 1818
Dior Homme Intense
L'Instant pour Homme
