    Help with Creed Aventus

    Hi all,

I just bought a 4 oz bottle of Creed Aventus from a online retailer, after doing some research, it seems this retailer has a less than stellar reputation. Anyhow, I paid $215, an average price it seems. It looks good as far as I can tell but was hoping some more experienced hands could take a look.

The serial number on the bottle is A42B13NB01

my only worry is that there was no Creed business card in the box.

Here are some pictures, any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

The bottle and sprayer parts look real. Does the retailer have a return policy, just in case? If not, did you pay with Paypal. If "yes" to either of those, then test it out. Do you get an alcohol cloud when you spray that quickly dissipates from your skin? Does it last, at least for a Creed? Does it spray "broadly, expansively" or does it "squirt"? Is there a lot number either on the bottom or bottom back of the bottle?

Thanks for the help. Yes, I payed with PayPal, just in case.

As for the atomiser, it works really well. It kind of sprays a death cloud. Better than any other atomiser I have used.

Yes, when sprayed it does dissipate quickly on my skin. I can still smell the sent after about 5 hours.

There is a lot number on the bottom ridge on the back of the bottle A42B13NB01.

Thanks so much for your input and help.

Oh and Tony T, thanks for nothing. If you have such a problem with these types of posts I suggest you don't look at them, it's the Internet you can do that son. I may be new here but am very familiar with online forums. If Basenotes had a problem with these type of posts they wouldn't allow them, nobody likes a troll.

Enjoy! I haven't heard any complaints from Basenoters yet about authenticity issues with fragrancenet.com. The complaints I hear regarding that company are mostly about customer service and logistics.

Where did you read that there were problems with fragrancenet? Everything they sell is real.

I just did a few searches on customer reviews of fragrancenet, can't remember white sites they were. Most were customer service related but there were some about fakes, but who knows. I am pretty happy with them and they shipped pretty fast too. Again thanks all.
