Looking for, well, you read the title...

Niche or not matters little to me, I'm not the peculiar nor snobbish type. Just hoping for more than one option.

Thanks again, and as always all!

Eau des Baux L`Occitane en Provence - vanilla, spice, and wood ( I like)
L'artisan - Vanille Absolument - vanilla, rum, tobacco, balms, and wood ( I like it ok, but many seem to love). Currently on sale on L'Artisan site - 100ml $66 edp.

Isn't le male one of those jean Paul g. Frags? Don't ask those bottles look like a mannequin top? I know it might sound ridiculous, but a bottle can and will totally alert my willingness to own a scent. It's actually a major factor in my purchasing decisions. This JPG are the absolute worst, most feminine looking emasculating things I've ever seen. Can't bring myself to castrate me in that regard...

It's kind of silly but I can't stand that bottle either...

    Givenchy Pi.

I am going to  assume that you are looking for a "masculine vanilla" that is distinctly gourmand in character as there are a ton of male fragrances that have a perceptible vanilla note but which aren't particularly "foodie" (like AMen, for example)

For a straight up vanilla, check Serge Luten's "Une Bois Vanille" or Givenchy "Pi".

For a maple-y vanilla, try Christian Dior "Eau Noire"

For a coffee vanilla, try "Michael Jordan Legend" - super cheap but very good - $12.99 at Ross

Great selection! My favourite is BB. Honorable mention for Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanilla

Gucci pour Homme (the 2003 discontinued version) has a really nice mix of wood/spice and a vanilla undertone, IMO.
Get it while you still can.

Bulgari Black is a must-try imo. Diptyque Eau Duelle should also be on the list.

Okay, I liked the sound of bvlgari black, until someone mentioned the scent of rubber! That made it sound absolutely disgusting. Rubber never smells good in any regard. Lol

But I'll probably try these all anyway.
