I think this is a most decent niche line, with rather well-composed scents. True, the scents themselves may not be edgy and truly unique, but I feel that they come in ahead of many other new niche lines.
A good point of this line is that it is quite well-priced. And the line is still small, so it is easy to have a nice overview, and know that each one sits quite far away from the others on the olfactive spectrum.
Of the current five, I like Chambre Noire and Still Life best, with Lumi√®re Blanche quite nice as well. Flash Back is not bad, but perhaps not as outstanding. I have not tried Autoportrait.
Re: comparison with Montale
I think one gripe many people have with Montale is the sheer number of scents (often minor variants on a theme), that many of the scents blur into each other after a while.
