This may be generally known here but perhaps worthy of a new thread. From their emailing:

As we have been doing every other year, and for the 3rd time in Le Labo's history, we close our eyes and cover our ears and let the City Exclusives leave their hometown.

Starting September 1st, our 8 City Exclusive perfumes will be available in our boutiques, online and in a selection of corners across the globe. This event will last for 6 weeks and 6 weeks only.

So set up an alert in your calendar, and get ready for the big day by trying our City Exclusive perfumes on your skin before committing.  Samples are available on our four e-stores starting today and for a limited time only. Click here to order your samples!

    Have a wonderful summer.

PS: Each sample is individually prepared... As usual, we'll work hard to make sure your order is handled quickly!

Samples are $12 each but the regular line fragrances are $6. Hmmm...
Do the exclusive bottles cost more?
And which samples should I order?
I am currently thinking Poive 23, Gaiac 10 and Cuir 28.
    Suggestions welcome!
    And please vote!

I wonder if they'll be firm to their six-week run.

Yes, the exclusives are double in price, just like the samples.

Though it looks like their regular line went up $15...I wonder if the exclusives will go up $30.

Thanks ! Good to know. :) I do think the city exclusive thing is silly. Just make them available to everyone  - you'll also probably make more money.

Seems Cuir 28 is not offered. But Another 13.

I wish they would make Aldehyde 44 part of their permanent collection for everyone.

I cut and pasted the scents available from their order page in the US. Unless they took it down in the last hour or so, these are what they are offering as samples.

Although this brand and I just don't see eye to eye, I do want to try some of these out (Poivre and Guaiac, specifically), so I'll be visiting a location close to me for sure.

A rose for Chicago? I'm guessing the scents aren't supposed to reflect the city in any way...?

Its actually of the best roses in the game.

I just think they could have come up with something that embodies Chicago a bit more, however, I'm not sure if that's what they're going for with these...

Cool. I just had a look at the full bottles of that line.

But what does that mean? Can you test Cuir 28 but not buy the bottle then?

I ordered samples of Gaiac 10 and Cuir 28 yesterday from the Le Labo e-store. I always wanted to try this line because I really love the concept of it all.

Just for clarification: Baie Rose refers to pink pepper, but the composition does contain rose.

So what will the prices be for these exclusives when they hit worldwide distribution for 6 weeks ?

Yes you can for a while. Go to their samples page and the city exclusives are at the top of the list.
