Good morning all !. Joining G today with a new bottle - SotD is Bel Ami.
Preparing to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary today. I've got venison in the slow cooker and Jenny is finishing off a limoncello tart. Champagne chilling nicely in the fridge and the weather looks promising enough for a garden preprandial.
Congrats to your parents, Jon, and ENJOY what sounds like a truly lovely day.
I decided I neede to give Histoires des Parfums Olympia another chance, as after I posted about the persistent suede note yesterday, some of the florals and other basenotes did decide to "show up" on my skin. I've not really been able to pick any one note out after the suede (okay, maybe some of the chocolate, but that's just 'cause chocolate is wonderful), I think Olympia's more of an "atmosphere" scent in that way. Based on their marketing, that sounds like what HdP was going for.
Super Sunday everyone!
Olympia notes: Orange, Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Pink Berries, Black Pepper, Saffron, Rose, Freesia, Lilac, Peony, Blond Wood, Patchouli, Frankincense, Styrax, Suede, Vanilla, Chocolate, Licorice, White Musk.
Good morning, everyone -
I love a lazy Sunday morning, and Tony's gone out to fetch fresh, hot beignets, so that's awesome. I'm not even dressed yet, but my robe smells faintly of Shalimar Parfum Initial, so I decided to just enhance it with a bit of Ava Luxe Nude Musk ...and not for the first time so I knew it would be amazing, but I might just decide not to get dressed today.
Y'all have a fantastic day!
I'm sure they'll love it all Jon, and you enjoy the festivities, too - it sounds like you have a very special day planned! Congratulations to the anniversary celebrants - may they pass many more joyful years together.
