We're having a 5 star summer day here. So I slapped some UJeM on and took the dogs for a long walk.

When I got back and sat down, I couldn't believe the different things I was smelling; citrus, flowers, blueberries (very distinct to me), nuts, pine, herbs, salt. Just a fascinating combination and perfect for a summer day.

Is there anything else like this?

Think I found my 1st FB purchase. Although I will try several more times before pulling the trigger.

My guess is that you'll get it sooner than you think. It's a truly wonderfully crafted scent IMO.

For some reason, UJeM's vegetal, carroty quality reminded me of Dzongkha. But that might have been a hallucination.

now at the top of my Buy List.

Trying Jardin sur le Nil today

Sorry -- I find these 'jardins' a little over chemical

The Jardins are to me some Mr Ellena's best works of art. Mediterenee and le Nil are just superb IMHO. Time for me to get a bottle of each!!

Doesn't Hermes make some great scents? I gotta give 'sur le Nil' a try.

Really enjoying Sur le Nil, today. Lacks that sweet note that Jardin Med has, and so probably a little better suited for wear at work. Jardin Med is almost perfectly suited for a day or days off in mid summer. Both are beauties, to my nose. Sur le Nil going on my Buy list, also.

Sur le Nil is a wonderful scent. The first time I smelled it--right after it came out--I thought it must be a mistake. That top note is so sour and unusual. A couple of minutes later, though, I found myself sniffing my wrist over and over.

Sur le Toit is also definitely worth a try. The only bad one in the series, IMO, is Apres la Mousson. I bought a bottle blind because I thought the ad campaign was adorable, but I don't like it at all.
